The “Blue Career 2014″ Event was successfully held on the 29th of September 2014 at the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol. This one day program was being co-organized by the Maritime Institute of Eastern Mediterranean, the Cyprus Shortsea Promotion Center and the Cyprus University of Technology. The aim of this initiative was to raise awareness among the younger generation with regard to the Marine and Maritime Industry, including Oil & Gas, and explore the abundant opportunities of a sea or shore based career. Mr. Yiannis Paraskevopoulos, Managing Director of TURBOMED S.A. which was Gold Sponsor of the event, and Mr. Menelaos Demetriou, Commercial Director at NAVKRATIS LTD were present in this exciting event.
